Hawke’s Bay Mortgage & Insurance Limited t/a HBMI & NIMS provides financial advice in regard to mortgages, business lending and risk insurance.
Clients include individuals, families and businesses. Hawke’s Bay Mortgages & Insurance Limited t/a HBMI & NIMS is a member of the New Zealand Financial Services Group (NZFSG).
NZFSG assists their network of advisers by providing them with robust systems and processes. By using these tools, and their specialist knowledge, NZFSG advisers exercise care, diligence and skill in providing financial advice to New Zealanders.
Paul Michaelsen
Paul has been in the finance industry since 1992, and has held senior management roles in business banking and the retail arms of banks. This has enabled Paul to gain a wealth of knowledge in mortgages, lending and insurance products, while gaining an astute business acumen and a sound commercial awareness. Paul’s key attributes include putting clients first and doing the right thing by them, having high integrity and being trustworthy when it comes to mortgages, loans and risk insurance.
Paul is Hawke’s Bay born and bred, proud of what the region has become over the years, and believes in giving back to the community. He is currently a member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Hastings Karamu, and also a New Zealand Automobile Association District Councillor for the Hawke’s Bay & Gisborne Region. Paul is also a New Zealand Automobile Association Board Member.
Dale O'Connor
Dale has been in the insurance industry since 2010 and his experience has been largely in customer relationship management roles at ACC. These roles have provided Dale with extensive experience in managing large portfolios and ensuring clients receive the best service possible.
Dale is strongly focused on getting great outcomes for his clients while acting with fairness, objectivity, and integrity. He is also a proud husband of Antonia and together they have two amazing young daughters.
